ANFF-Q will be hosting a new Anton Paar Litesizer™ 500 from Wednesday 23 October until Friday 8 November. To help us make the most of this incredible instrument, we have invited Dr Neeraj Mishra from Anton Paar to present a seminar on Dynamic, Electrophoretic and Static Light Scattering (DLS, ELS, SLS) technologies and how they can be applied to different samples. The seminar will be followed by a Q&A afternoon tea.
Additionally, private demonstrations of the instrument will be available each day by appointment, and we invite you to bring your samples.
The Litesizer™ 500 is an instrument for characterizing nano- and microparticles in dispersions and solutions.
It determines particle size, zeta potential, and molecular mass by measuring dynamic light scattering (DLS), electrophoretic light scattering (ELS), and static light scattering (SLS).
A highlight of the Litesizer™ 500 is its ingeniously simple software. We have created a one-page workflow, where input parameters, results and analysis are all on a single page. You can set up your experiments in a few seconds, and produce the analyses and reports you need at the touch of a button.
With the Litesizer™, you will benefit from the following:
- Three detection angles with automatic angle selection through transmittance.
- Perform zeta potential measurements on sample concentrations up to 70% (m/V), and on samples as dilute as 0.1 mg/ml.
- Long-life laser diode with extremely short warm-up times.
- Compact design with easy-to-use control software.
Places are limited so make sure you register:
Private sessions — bring your own sample!
The new Anton Paar Litesizer™ 500 will be set-up to try on your own samples, from Wednesday 23 October until Friday 8 November. To book a session on the Litesizer™, email Professional Officer Dr Javaid Khan.
